Three Pillars in Central Jakarta Participate in Monitoring PSBB

Together with Dandim, police and other communities, we take steps to maximize compliance with this regulation

Together with army/police and other communities, the Central Jakarta administration takes in action to monitor the implementation of the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) by preparing hundreds of personnel.

Central Jakarta Mayor Bayu Meghantara said it is done to enforce Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2020 on PSBB in Handling COVID-19 in Jakarta.

"Together with Dandim, police and other communities, we take steps to maximize compliance with this regulation," he expressed, after a ceremony with three pillars in Makodim 0501/JP, Kemayoran Sub-district, Central Jakarta, Monday (9/14).

According to him, as many as 3,000 personnel of Satpol PP and 500 members of community in Central Jakarta had been prepared to monitor the PSBB.

Central Jakarta Dandim Commander Col. (Ins) Luqman Arief added, in this joint monitoring, his party had prepared 1,000 personnel and 1,500 police officers.

"This ceremony aims to face PSBB. Currently we involve the community component. Thus, in its implementation, people really are involved in order to understand and realize the dangers of COVID-19," he stressed.
